  • We are based out of Canaan, CT. We service the following counties in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York:

    • CT: Litchfield, Hartford, northern Fairfield, northern New Haven

    • MA: Berkshire, western Hampden

    • NY: Dutchess, Colombia, southwestern Rensselaer

    • We will do our best to accommodate same-day appointments, but it is best to book ahead as much as possible to ensure availability

  • Travel charges are based from Canaan, CT:

    • <10 miles: No charge

    • 10-19 miles: $30

    • 20-29 miles: $45

    • 30-39 miles: $60

    • ≥40 miles: $100

At-Home Euthanasia

  • Compassionate care provided to your pet in the comfort of their home. Includes a clay paw print and fur clipping if desired.

    • Cats and dogs <20 pounds: $370 (cash/check discount: $355)

    • Dogs ≥20 - 50 pounds: $420 (cash/check discount: $405)

    • Dogs 51-99 pounds: $470 (cash/check discount: $455)

    • Dogs ≥100 pounds: $530 (cash/check discount: $515)

  • After hours (8pm - 8am) and holiday fee: $100

  • Weekend fee: $50

  • We are willing to see aggressive pets or pets with behavioral issues, however we please ask that you let us know ahead of time by calling in to schedule. Please note, an additional $45 fee may be applicable if additional medication or time is necessary to ensure safety for everyone, including your pet.

  • We are willing to accommodate appointments outside or at a special location, weather permitting.

Aftercare

  • Private cremation: $360 (cash/check discount: $345)

    • This is an individualized flame cremation where your pet’s ashes will be returned to you in an urn of your choosing

    • Each urn will come with a personalized name plate engraved with your pets name

    • You can chose one of the following urns for no additional cost:

  • Communal cremation: $120 (cash/check discount: $115)

    • This is a communal flame cremation where your pet’s ashes will not be returned to you

  • Exclusive transportation: $150 (cash/check discount: $145)

    • In the event your pet passes naturally at home but you wish to have private or communal cremation services, we can come to your home to transport your pet to fulfill your aftercare request. Includes a clay paw print and fur clipping if desired.

    • This does not include travel charges, if applicable

Keepsakes

  • At-home euthanasia includes a clay paw print and fur clipping in the home. If you have chosen private or communal cremation you can browse our crematory partner Final Gift’s memorial products to request a different urn or additional keepsakes such as an ink print, additional clay prints, fur, personalized jewelry, etc. Costs associated with additional items must be paid directly to Final Gift.

  • $175 for a 45 minute video call

    • If you would like to discuss your pet’s current status, evaluate their quality of life together, or simply meet virtually prior to scheduling an appointment this can be a helpful option. Please note medical advice and treatment recommendations cannot legally be provided without a physical exam in person.

We offer end of life care in the comfort of your home. We do not offer routine veterinary care such as vaccines, diagnostics, or therapeutic treatments at this time.
