Meet Dr. Katie Parker

I am originally from rural Pike County, Pennsylvania were I grew up along the Delaware River. I received my bachelors degree in Animal Science from Delaware Valley University, masters degree in Public Health from the University of Iowa, and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University. I have always had a passion for agriculture, population health, and the human-animal bond.

In my career I have enjoyed working with swine and dairy producers as well as spay/neuter clinics for dogs and cats. Over time, I discovered a stronger calling in a more intimate and deeply meaningful aspect of veterinary care—helping families say goodbye to their beloved pets in the comfort of their home. I am committed to creating a peaceful, supportive environment during one of life’s most difficult moments.

Outside of work you may find me on a local hiking trail, kayaking, snowboarding, or spending time with family and friends.
